It's okay, we're all losers here!
Skyward Sword

Alright, so I just finished playing Loz: Skyward Sword. I don’t remember how long I’ve been playing, but I kinda wish I still was. During the whole game I was making snide remarks and insulting (and fawning over a few so don’t think I’m that heartless!) characters  such as “Captain Obvious” Fi and “Creepy-fab” Ghirahim (I swear that every time he appeared I laughed and frowned at the same time). But even after all the nicknames and screaming in confusion and threatening Link, I still really like the characters (Especially Groose, that lovable oaf) and the game itself.

So now, after a close battle and seeing the end, I’m a little sad. I still feel like going through all the dungeons without knowing what’s up ahead and generally running around like a chicken with its head cut off. I dunno when I’ll play again (especially because the Imprisoned still angers me) but with all the feelings it left me with I’m pretty sure it won’t be long from now.

Now I don’t know why I’m writing this for anyone who is desperate enough to cure boredom, but I just felt like giving my personal thoughts on it. It’s a really great game and is currently rivaling my love for Wind Waker, which holds my top spot for any Zelda game I’ve finished. If you love Zelda and haven’t played it yet, you really should.

(P.S. The end made me cry. I know I’m a wuss but it’s actually hard for me to cry at books, tv, and games? Holy cow this game is good. Kudos, Nintendo. Kudos.)

*Blog Notice! Starting tomorrow I’m gonna start up my queue of stuff I’ve been saving for the past week(?) so be prepared for an explosion of me reblogging and possibly posting my own art on your dash <3
